But you don&#8217;t need to take our word for it\u2014see what actual dental professionals have to say about clip-in veneers.<\/p>    <p>Dr Chrystle Cu, D.D.S. explains that snap-on veneers rarely fit well and can irritate your gums and your oral mucosa (the soft tissue inside your mouth). <\/p>    <blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"> <p>&#8220;As a dentist, I&#8217;m not a fan of snap-on veneers at all!&#8221; <\/p> <cite>Dr Chrystle Cu, D.D.S.<\/cite><\/blockquote>    <p>Clip-on veneers can make your bite feel off and cause jaw pain with prolonged use. He does acknowledge that they may provide some short-term benefits for patients who aren&#8217;t ready to commit to permanent veneers. <\/p>    <p>Just like Dr Cu, he mentions that unlike permanent veneers, which leave no space between the tooth and the veneers, these snap-in teeth veneers can trap bacteria and plaque along the edges that can cause gum inflammation and tooth decay. <\/p>    <p>If you are intent on getting clip-on veneers, he recommends visiting a dentist who can make you a custom set at a lower cost than regular veneers. At least that way you will get some professional supervision.  <\/p>    <p>Dr April Patterson has a slightly different opinion when it comes to fake snap-on teeth veneers. She says,<\/p>    <blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"> <p>&#8220;I personally think that they are a great\u2014very temporary\u2014option for someone who is missing front teeth, or has damaged or broken front teeth.&#8221; <\/p> <cite>Dr. April Patterson<\/cite><\/blockquote>    <p>She recognizes that it&#8217;s hard to operate in our society with a sub-par smile. Dr Patterson does caution, however, that it&#8217;s essential to maintain good oral hygiene and remove and thoroughly clean your temporary veneers every night, and she stresses that this is only a temporary fix. <\/p>    <p>She recommends that patients try to get real permanent veneers and that if they can&#8217;t afford them, they consider third-party financing like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dentaly.org\/en\/dental-financing\/dental-loans\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"7888\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dental loans<\/a> or care credit, or save up the money over time. <\/p>    <h2 id=\"alternatives-to-snap-on-veneers\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alternatives to snap-on veneers<\/h2>    <p>The best alternative to clip-on teeth veneers is an appointment with your dentist to deal with any oral health problems you may have, and then to follow your dentist&#8217;s care recommendations.
